Love Is To Help A Child Thru A Nightmare

Little children are often traumatized when they have a nightmare and they cry or call out for support. One of the nicest things we can do for them is to be there when this happens, coming in to sit at their beside, with kind words of support, a gentle head rub and perhaps a glass of water.

This gives the child a sense of security and assurance everything is fine, as he or she soon drifts off to a happier, more restful sleep. And no-one can play this role better than someone the child loves and believes in and who will share love in return.
