This morning as I awoke, I felt Anne cuddled up against me as she slept. I could feel her warmth and it brought so much joy to my heart, I laid still absorbing the moment.
Recently a 97 year old woman told me one of the things she misses when she thinks about her husband of over 73 years who passed away three years ago is when she goes to bed, there is no-one to cuddle with. And that lack of cuddling adds to her feeling of being alone.
If you have a lover, try cuddling if you haven't already done so. Cuddling has the power to lift your heart as you feel especially close to someone who loves you very much.
