During an argument, the wisest thing you can do is to take a 10 minute break. Why?
Because during those 10 minutes, you will begin to calm down and allow your rational mind to take control.
When your rational mind takes control, you'll realize that in all liklihood, what you are arguing over was never worth an argument, for an argument only brings ill will and resolves nothing.
And you may realize that you love this person and be wise enough to come back in and apologize for the hurtful things you said.
