Being A Good Listener

Everyone needs a good listener, someone who is trustworthy, sympathetic and supportive. If you can be that person:

People will depend upon you, and be grateful for your caring, even if you say little in response, for what they really want is your love and compassion more than any wise counsel.

Even at times when they can't find their words, your hug or handshake will still go a very long way in helping them.
