Relationships Are What Matter Most

Relationships are what matter most, an easy statement to agree with but one often not put into practice. In our pursuit of money and attention, we commonly forget what really matters most and beyond our basic needs, we involve ourselves in ego driven activity, offering little time and attention to those who love us..

It is our loved ones who value us most, our loved ones who offer us relationships of substance and our loved ones who are there when we most need people to be there for us. All they ask is that we be there for them and that we sincerely love them, as we care for their needs as well.

As you grow older, you will realize how valuable to you those relationships really and you will learn to treasure them, for in the end, the only thing of value you will leave behind, the only thing of value you ever really had to offer those closest to you and to offer all of mankind was your love and devotion.

For that is what people most remember Gandhi and Mother Teresa for and it is what they will most remember in you. So if you deeply desire to live in the hearts of others be generous in the love and devotion you offer now and be generous in the love and devotion you offer each day of your life..
