To feel love is to feel gratitude for how can one love another without being thankful for that love and for that person.
If ever you want to uplift your heart, broaden that thankfulness to include some of the people who do acts of kindness for you such as the teacher who volunteers extra time to help your child do better in school or the cook who prepares your favorite dish just the way you like it.
You might want to broaden that gratitude to include a co-worker who assists you with a project or a nurse who provides an extra level of attention and compassion to you or your loved one.
Gratitude is really a form of love disguised as a message of appreciators and if you express that message often, it can't help but warm the hearts of others and uplift your heart in the process.
