To Grow In Love Is To Learn From Our Failures

None of us is perfect, and we all regularly make mistakes in every aspect of our lives, love being no exception. As much as we love our spouse, our children and others, we will sometimes come up short of our own expectations for ourselves.

When that happens, the easiest route is blame others or blame the circumstances. But if we do, we never grow from our mistakes, for how can we grow if they were someone else's fault or we were a victim of circumstances.

One never fails at love. But if we find ourselves alienated from our loved ones, alone and unwanted, we must take a critical look at our own behavior and ask ourselves why this happened and what we can do to correct it.

Whatever happens to us in life, living without love is not an option we need ever accept if only we will open our minds to acknowledge our mistakes and correct them, as we grow in the process. And we must always be wise enough to open our hearts to others and humble enough to ask for their forgiveness when it is necessary.
