True Love

There is never true love that does not include respect, kindness, compassion and forgiveness.

But most of us are frequently driven by our insecurities, our vanity, posessivness, jealousy and fears and therefore are blinded to the needs of those we love. Yet we too have those needs and seek them from our loved ones, often frustrated by their inability to fulfill our needs.

Therefore the key to the expression of true love is for it to come from our higher selves, our spiritual beings, as over our lifetimes we strive to grow beyond our lower ego focused insecure selves.

Given the magnificence of true love, the desire for this love is fundamental and so powerful that we pursue it with all the vigor of salmon seeking to spawn, yet often no more conscious of our need than they are of theirs.
