Love Is A Simple Life Uplifting Moment

"Hi, this is Betsy," rang out a happy voice, as I answered my office telephone. And I responded to her as upbeat as she was and welcomed her into my day.

She was calling to schedule a plumber to come to Anne's and my home and to reveal how much a new replacement part had cost ($116). Instead of my taking exception over the cost, I assured her it was worth every penny and joked with her as we shared a laugh or two. For I knew it would cost the same whether I objected or not and why not make the best of it, enjoy her company and be pleased with the repair this plumber will make in our home tomorrow, at the time we scheduled.

When the call concluded, with big smiles, we wished each other a wonderful day and we both meant it. If you would like greater happiness try this approach. Put a smile in your heart, in your face and in your voice and greet people with all the love you can muster, whether over the telephone or face to face. You will make their day a little nicer and in turn most of them will do that for you. Over a day full of contacts, you will have sent warm and joyous ripples across the pond of life and added to your own happiness, as you did that for others.
