Are Thinner People More Beautiful?

Generally speaking thinner people are seen as being more beautiful.

By thinner, I don't mean those who appear weak or sickly, but rather trim, which in women is often equated with being sexy or in older women, vivacious.

Meanwhile heavy people are often thought of as fat, slovenly, undisciplined and in some cases, not the image an organization wants to put forth.

If you are considerably overweight, consider taking off the excess poundage for health reasons.

But being heavy does not make you ugly, for you have attributes that make you beautiful. Those attributes may include the warm glow of an outgoing personality or taking a sincere interest in the well-being of others.

I recall a substantially overweight business associate who had so much energy and personality and did so much to help others, she was irresistible to practically everyone she met.

What ultimately attracts most people is how someone makes them feel about themselves.

Smile, be warm and friendly, a compassionate listener and offer a helping hand with no expectation of anything in return and you will become popular regardless of your weight, for you offer kindness and kindness is beautiful in any culture.
