An Act Of Faith, An Expression Of Gratitude

Sometimes we find our courage as an act of faith and an expression of gratitude to God, for each of us has so much to be thankful for.

As single people we find the courage to approach single people we are strongly attracted to and ask for a date, willing to bear rejection should that happen for our hopes carry us beyond that potential rejection.

It is an act of faith and an expression of gratitude no matter what happens.

We propose marriage knowing that half of all marriages end in divorce, and many other marriages are unhappy unions. But our hearts tell us our union could be one of those that is something special.

It is an act of faith and an expression of gratitude no matter what happens.

We decide to have children, a major responsibility, and we overcome our fears as an act of faith and an expression of gratitude.

After a child is born to us, we know our faith and gratitude have been rewarded for our union is blessed with the greatest gift one can ever receive, love on its highest plain, unselfish and magnificent, as two people become three.

Due to our faith and gratitude, the world shall never again be as it was and the wise among us instill faith and gratitude in the hearts of the next generation as we as mankind strive for something better than we have ever known.
