At the moment we are born, we are presented with the profound gift of life.
In that profound gift we can laugh and cry and love and fear and welcome everything else life has to offer.
Yet many people treat life as if it was passive, for they are often non-committal, non-embracing, non-risk taking and they act as if this life will go on forever, rather than the limited number of years any of us have to live.
But life is too precious and too brief to be lived this way.
Instead, embrace your life and the lives of those around you. Tell them you love them, treat them with kindness and seek out every bit of beauty you can share with them.
Life is a profound gift and it calls to us to be celebrated at every opportunity.
