When you marry, you don't know what you are getting because that person doesn't fully know him or her self, for that is a lifetime discovery process. You don't fully know yourself either.
So the best approach is to enter marriage with a loving, patient and forgiving heart for with time, together you will discover yourselves and each other.
What you do know from the start of your relationship is that you are both imperfect people, as we are all imperfect people, and that you both desire to build an intimate long-term relationship with each other or you would not have entered this marriage.
