Recently in her home my mother-in-law Mary Houston was entertaining her great-grandchildren, Cameron, age 9 and Carina, age 6.
When it came time for the children to leave, she exchanged big hugs with the children and then gave each of them a small bag of M&M's, a tasty candy which the kids were thrilled to receive.
How is this an expression of love?
Hugs uplift the hearts of almost everyone. In addition, love was also expressed with M&M's, which cost but a tiny amount of money.
But it wasn't the money, it was the thought of bringing joy to others. These simple actions make for happy times and loving memories.
