Hands Far Greater Than Our Own

When it comes to our loved ones, we do everything in our power to protect them, fearful for what might otherwise happen to them. But this sense of control we try to exert is an illusion for after our loved ones leave us in pursuit of their day, we have no control of what will happen to them.

One of the vital things I've learned in my 67 years is to let go, recognizing my lack of control and to place my trust in hands far greater than my own. Each day, I ask myself a simple question, "Is it fear or faith?" I then answer it by stating "faith."

To try to control the uncontrollable will drive us crazy and bring us unnecessary heartache. This does no one any good.

Our role is to help uplift the world with love and happiness and offer it a helping hand and to share with it all the joy we can muster. By honoring that role, we make the world a better place and hopefully make it safer for our loved ones and for the loved ones of others as well.
