A Little Lie

What harm could a little lie do? After all don't most people lie occasionally? Here is what a little lie could do:

It could undermine your loving relationship because you will be deceiving the person who put his or her trust in you. Instead, be honest.

No-one expects you to be perfect and your honesty is an acknowledgment of your imperfections as you strive to become a better, more loving person, and reinforce the trust others place in you.

Thank you to Leo Buscaglia (1924 - 1998) whose "Perfection is not a requirement to love, but honesty is," in his book "Born for Love," helped to inspire this piece.
