In front of Anne's and my home is a Pittosporum Tree. It is robust, round and stately and about 25 feet tall and about 20 feet wide. It is has thick three inch green leaves in five leaf round patterns and in the winter and early spring, it is thick with clusters of tiny white flowers among the leaves. Each night after the sun sets, those flowers emit a heavenly scent, like a cross between a potent mint and orange tree flowers in bloom.
It will make your senses tingle, like that of a scented rose or jasmine in bloom. If you live in a climate in which Pittosporum will thrive and you have the room to grow one, I recommend it to you as it will bring you joy and beautify your yard.
