"Do what you are passionate about...for at least a few minutes each day!!"

Dear Reader, Anne's and my niece Debbie Houston, a woman with a beautiful soul, recently shared with me 3 brief but meaningful thoughts I would like to share with you, for they could help you to uplift your life:

1) "Do what you will remember best on your death bed!" In her writings, psychiatrist and famous death and dying expert Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross often spoke of the regrets so many people had on their death beds for the things they wished they had done, the dreams they had postponed until it was too late. Time flies by. What will you remember best on your death bed that you could do now?

 2) "Have no regrets...settle your thoughts and actions now!" This is an extension of point 1. People always think "when the time is right," they will tell others how much they love them, they will take that special vacation and travel to magical places, they will launch their own business, they will get in good physical condition, they will take those college courses or read some of the great works or some other thing that is special to them. If you have such dreams, now is "when the time is right" to put them in action.

3) "Do what you are passionate about...for at least a few minutes each day!!" This powerful tip will bring you immense joy and over time, accomplishments that to you are special. You don't have to write your masterpiece in a day, but start a paragraph today and add another tomorrow. Before you know it, you will have that masterpiece ready to publish. Or maybe you have something else special in mind such as having more time with your children. As busy as you are, plan some time after work each day to do something you and they enjoy. Before you know it, they will be grown and out of the house and you will be thankful many times over for the time you invested in them when you had the chance and all the love and joy you shared.

Debbie closed by saying, "I love you, and wish you all the best!" Dear Reader, those are heartfelt words to share every day of your life with those closest to you. If you will do this, it alone could uplift your life.

Dick
